Election Time Is Here Again
We Have 3 Board Seats For Re-Election

The Credit Union relies heavily on the Board of Directors for their leadership and direction. It is extremely important that the Board be comprised of individuals who have the necessary time to give to the organization, the skills and knowledge to be able to offer the management direction and guidance, the ability to be flexible, and a clear vision of the future. We are a successful financial organization because our volunteers have always been of the highest caliber. The meeting will be held on January 27, 2005 at 1777 W. Cherry Street, Altamaha Technical College, and will begin at 7:00 p.m.

We are looking for members to volunteer to be on our Board of DirectorsThe nominating committee for the 2005 Annual Election consists of: Kathy Martin - ATC - 427-5800; Charles Scott - Rayonier - 427-2123; Madelyn Lewis - Wayne Memorial Hospital - 530-3344.

Our thanks to Kathy, Charles and Madelyn for volunteering to serve on the nominating committee.

The Board has three positions up for re-election in 2005. The positions are currently held by: Harold Spires, Morris Phillips and Riley Reddish.

Smile Face

A New Smile At AFCU

Sharon Mixon is our newest Member Service Representative and is doing a great job for Altamaha Federal Credit Union. Sharon has two children, Kara, 19 years old and Chad who is 15. Sharon is a life-long resident of Wayne County whose hobby is walking; she walks 10 miles almost every day, and is an inspiration to all of us. We are glad to add Sharon to our credit union family. Be sure to welcome her when you come in.
