Annual Meeting Update

Altamaha Federal Credit Union held their Annual Meeting January 27, 2005. At that time all members present participated in drawings for door prizes and were given complimentary gifts celebrating the 50 th anniversary of the credit union. Rocky was present to help with the door prizes and to pass out balloons.

Rocky & KidsThe membership present also voted for Board of Directors. Board members are volunteers who are vital to the credit union movement. Members who serve on credit union boards and committees are unique in the financial world in that they assume tremendous responsibilities and demanding workloads with out compensation. This tradition is based on the belief that they are involved because they support the credit union philosophy: people helping people help themselves.

Your new Board Directors are: Michael Moore, Chairman; Joan Cartwright, Secretary; Mike Thomas, Treasurer; Gene Pritchett, Education; Gene R. Jones, Director and Riley Reddish, Director.

The Board appointed your Supervisory Committee as follows: Michelle Parker, Chairman and Eric Edenfield, Committee Member.
