4 Automated Teller Machine (ATM)
  Also known as the money machine or cash machine.
4 Bad Check
  A check that is written when there is not enough money in the account as a bounced check.
4 Check
  A document used for payment.
4 Check Register
  A form to keep track of your checking account transactions.
4 Checking Account
  A payment method to manage your money efficiently.
4 Deposit
  The money you put into your account. Or (verb) to put money into your account.
4 Endorse
  To sign your name on the back of a check in order to cash it or deposit it.
4 Insufficient Funds fee
  The fee that is charged by a financial institution or business when a check cannot clear.
4 Outstanding Check
  A check that is still going through financial institution processing.
4 Reconcile
  A process to make sure your checkbook balance matches your financial institution’s balance for your account.

Report On Annual Meeting January 30, 2003

Your newly elected member of the Board of Directors, Riley Reddish, has committed to serving our members to the best of his abilities, along with the other members of the board. They are Gene R. (Buzzie) Jones, Chairman, Gene Altman, Vice-Chairman, Morris Phillips, Treasurer, Joan Cartwright, Harold Spires and Michael Moore. Be sure to thank them for serving as a volunteer in this capacity. Eric Edenfield and Michele Parker are also volunteers on the Supervisory Committee along with Harold Spires who also serves on the Board. Make sure to attend next January for fun and prizes.
